I wouldn’t normally use my blog to express opinions etc however, the video (link below) in question I think is an important one to be shared. The program ‘Pedigree Dogs Exposed’ left far too many folk believing that all pedigree dogs were unhealthy and that you were better buying a cross breed dog for health reasons and that is far from the real truth.
This film, narrated by Clare Balding, looks at the issues affecting dog health and wellbeing.
The video is entitled ‘Dogs – A Healthy Future’ and it focuses on things such as hereditary diseases, breeding, the problem of cruel puppy farms and much more. If you are considering buying a dog or merely wish to be better informed then this video is certainly worth a look and further consideration:
