Further to training either with an organised group or perhaps 121 sessions with a particular trainer you could progress to actually joining a shoot, working on counting days, beating, dogging in, entering Field Trials (which test your dogs abilities in a field HPR situation) or perhaps Working Tests which consist of different sections designed to test your dogs hunting abilities, retrieving abilities and general obedience.
