Breed Promotion

I take great pride in Breed Promotion but not for the sake of it. I take pride in showing people the joy that is Weimaraners and in particular of course Longhaired Weimaraners for they have changed my life for the better in so many ways!

Whilst we do not prioritise showing my dogs have all been shown, all won classes and have had placements at CRUFTS including in the Working classes and had Group placements at Open shows. They have also won numerous club and association trophies.

BUT………

For me breed promotion is not about showing or trophies, breed promotion is about showing what they can do! They are an intelligent working breed and that’s what they should be doing, things, stuff, activities! Yes my dogs enjoy showing but they don’t care about cardboard and rosettes they care about time well spent with those they care about.

My dogs are really active as you can see on here, they love agility, obedience, tricks, tracking, mantrailing, scentwork, literally you name it and they love to do it! That’s where breed promotion happens, people seeing happy dogs enjoying doing all sorts everywhere.

In addition to this we have done our bit for breed promotion at the various public meet and greets such as Discover Dogs and the International Festival of Falconry, Faith has shot a commercial and completed a photoshoot for Made.com and Rhea has worked with Fetch.com ….so, there we have it, come meet us somewhere, sometime because we love to meet people interested in this amazing breed!
