What a great time I had on todays shoot with Faith! Was so incredibly proud of her as it was so many new experiences in a short space of time <3
She was everything I hoped for when I put Kodi to Rhea 😀 Was good around all the goings on (people and dogs), unphased by all the gunshot, beaters flags and noise, different vehicles, grounds we worked on/through, listened well, sat when whistled and watched birds going up and over and waited to be released and was even given a short retrieve….which she returned to the gamekeeper lol! Nearly had me over in her enthusiasm at one point but I could take that as her only naughty thing all day! Lovely to see the change in her over the course of the day, really switched on by the end, concentrating on scent and no longer interested in play.
Loads more to work on as always but none too shabby start!
