Southend & District Canine Society Match Night, Adult Dog or Bitch1st Place & Best in Match
Critique – N/A

What a fab evening last night, thank you to Southend and District Canine Society for a superb match night.

Faith was first to be shown and won her round, I was very pleased with her as she was lovely and settled which showed in her movement beautifully (she’s been a little ‘playful’ lately so we have worked hard positively training her to settle again).

Rhea I showed next and she was a little fidgety but managed to win her round too!

This meant two in the challenge for Best in Match so Gabriella was unhappily brought out to show Rhea. Rhea did however go really nicely for her. I was unsure how the girls would cope being shown together as they never have been. At first Faith kept trying to look around for her mum but after setting her up again she finally settled and stacked nicely. Movement was settled and she gave it her all.

Judge Abby Webb then shortlisted as it was a large group (I think due to being pre Crufts it was larger than normal, all the extra people like me out to practice). I was really pleased to make the shortlist in a group of lovely dogs. We all had another opportunity to move and again Faith didnt put a foot wrong and I was delighted she was then awarded BEST IN MATCH! At just 16mths old too, to the day!
