An afternoon’s training with Adem

Trainer – Adem Fehmi

Adem is a not only a canine behaviourist but also a wonderful trainer and experienced in field training, he has demonstrated on several occassions on behalf of the Kennel Club both at Crufts and the CLA game fair. He teaches both gundog work, obedience & agility.

Having been recommended Adem by a fellow Weimaraner owning friend (who has had great agility and obedience success under Adem’s guidance) I booked our initial one to one session (required before joining any development training with Adem) for me and Kodi to see how we faired and what we could add or alter in our work together.

My friend was so right to recommend him! I had a thoroughly brilliant afternoon, learnt some fascinating new things and I now can’t wait for my first class, which should hopefully be at the end of October.

Initially it has been mutually decided to split the first session between agility and gundog work so Adem can further assess us but out of the two I am looking for the gundog work to be the way forward.

It has been a while since our first meeting and Kodi now regularly attends agility classes. He is progressing nicely, patiently waiting to be told what to do and adding together equipment now.
